How listing your venue works

From sign-up to the first booking. The rent goes straight to you, Bóka Sal takes no cut of it.

1. You

   An account

   You sign up and confirm your e-mail address.

2. You

   The listing

   You add photos, prices, a description and opening hours, about 15 minutes. The venue is saved as a draft that is not shown on the site until we have reviewed it.

3. You

   Review

   You send it with one button once the venue has a photo, a price and its details.

4. Bóka Sal

   Publishing

   We review the listing and you get an e-mail when it is live, or a note if something needs fixing.

5. You

   Requests

   Requests from guests land on My pages, and by e-mail unless you have switched it off. Accept or decline straight from the e-mail, no sign-in needed, or send a quote. Accepting closes the date in the calendar.

6. You

   Payment and confirmation

   Add your account number and kennitala under Settings and they go with every acceptance: the guest pays you directly, and the booking is confirmed when you mark the payment received. Without them the booking is confirmed on acceptance and you agree payment directly.
