What Bóka Sal is
One place to find a room to rent in Iceland — a banquet hall for a wedding, a meeting room for a morning, a community hall for a birthday, or somewhere to gather for an evening. Venues are listed by companies, clubs and private people, and anyone can search them without an account.
How money works
Rent is settled directly between guest and owner — Bóka Sal does not process rental payments. The service is free for guests; venue owners pay a subscription, per our price list, to rent out their spaces on the site.
For service providers
Caterers, chefs, waiting staff, decorators, sound engineers and everyone else who works around events can be listed in the services directory, and can advertise on the site.
