About the venue
A bright hall on the upper floor of Þytur Sailing Club on Strandgata, with a view over the centre of Hafnarfjörður and the harbour. It suits confirmations, birthdays and meetings and takes 65 seated or about 80 standing. Tables and chairs for 65. Kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, hob, oven, coffee maker and tableware. Sound system and microphone, music from a computer or Bluetooth, an 85-inch screen with HDMI and dimmable lighting. Parking on site. Toilets on the lower floor, stairs between floors and no lift. The hall is let for the evening. The rent is ISK 85,000, or ISK 70,000 for club members.

House rules
The hall is returned before noon the following day. It is to be returned in the condition it was received, and all cleaning supplies are on site. If you prefer, the hall can be cleaned for you after the party for a cleaning fee of ISK 25,000, and the same fee applies if it is returned dirty. Tablecloths are not included and can be rented at ISK 2,500 each. No staff come with the hall. Payment is by an invoice to your online bank, and the renter's kennitala must accompany the confirmation.
